Sauti Zetu (Our Voices) is a community advocacy and empowerment program that ensures the people most affected by health policies and services have a meaningful say in shaping them. We believe that sustainable health improvements require communities to be active participants, not passive recipients.
What the Program Does
We facilitate community dialogue sessions, train community members as health advocates, support women's groups to engage with local health authorities, document community experiences and needs, and present community voices to policymakers at district and national levels.
The program has facilitated over 50 community forums, trained 120 community health advocates, and contributed to measurable improvements in how local health facilities respond to community concerns.
